This car was first introduced in 2001 as a small, five door hatchback named after one of the fishes that live in Malaysian sea. It was produced for seven years total, with the last unit built in 2007 due to introduction a newer model. Still very popular among many people, the used Perodua Kelisa is a really good choice if you need an economical, small city car and you don’t care about its rather ugly design.
The used Perodua Kelisa, as almost all other small city cruisers, has a standard FF layout( front engine, front wheel drive )and can be equipped with one of only two available engines: a 850 cc three cylinder petrol unit or a little bigger and slightly more powerful 1, 0 litre inline four petrol unit with EFI( Electronic Fuel Injection )producing enough power to accelerate the used Perodua Kelisa from 0-62 mph( 0-100 km/h )in about 13 seconds, while maximum speed of a vehicle with that engine is 98 mph( 156 km/h ). When comes to the fuel economy, a used Perodua Kelisa is one of the best city cars, being able to reach 68 miles per imperial gallon. The used Perodua Kelisa is also extremely cheap vehicle, which is( apart of fuel economy )probably one of the reasons behind its popularity.
